“Why do we fall down? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up” One of my favorite movie quotes of all time best said by, Thomas Wayne father of Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins.
Overcoming Obstacles is a metaphor for life and has given me, the strength to find a way out of some of the roughest, toughest, terrains in the world, under some of the most stressful situations.
This past weekend’s WORLDS TOUGHEST MUDDER #WTM17 was by far the greatest example of life truly feeling like an obstacle course each and every day.
We start out great, get knocked down, get back up, face our fears [most don’t even really exist] Get fired back up, start doubting our motives, successfully get through a nasty situation, refuel, recover and get back in the fight.
How successful our day and the entire [24 hours] in it, is truly up to us and how we look at life.
Do we feel sorry for ourselves and what’s standing in our way of personal success and accomplishments?
Or do we accept where we stand and what needs to get done by heading straight into the fire and owning up to the challenges ahead?
So how do we get through the coldest, darkest, most painful times in our life?
